Without precise drawings, each contractor prices their own interpretation of your wishes. Quotes cannot be compared and extras appear once the work has started.

Your questions
Can I just buy the drawings and consult contractors myself?
Yes. The Design + construction drawings option gives you a complete file to send to the contractors of your choice. I can also compare their quotes and carry out site inspections.
Are the contractors insured?
Before work starts I check each contractor's ten-year warranty insurance (garantie décennale), registration and social security certificates. You sign directly with them.
How long does a full renovation take?
For a 75 m² apartment, allow 12 to 14 weeks of works, after 3 to 5 weeks of design and construction drawings.
I don't live in Cannes. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Approval meetings can be held by video call, and you receive a photo report every week, in English.
